Audre's Den is a nonprofit bookstore and community sanctuary rooted in the belief that access to literature and commitment to wellbeing are inseparable. Inspired by the legacy of Audre Lorde, we center Black women, women writers, and underrepresented voices — and we create space for the community to read, write, and rest without explanation.

We are currently operating as a mobile bookstore and pop-up experience while working toward our permanent brick-and-mortar home. We are being built in real time, and every donation helps turn shelves into books, space into sanctuary, and intention into impact.
