Shaquinta Richardson, Ph.D.
Founder, Acting Executive DirectorDr. Shaquinta Richardson is a visionary leader, practitioner, educator, and researcher dedicated to building transformative spaces where women and girls can thrive. As the Founder and Acting Executive Director of Audre's Den, she guides the organization’s strategic vision, organizational development, and community-centered initiatives to drive long-term impact and equity.
Throughout her career, Shaquinta has specialized in turning ambitious visions into sustainable, high-impact programs. Drawing on her multidisciplinary background as a practitioner, educator, and researcher, she bridges evidence-informed practice with human-centered care. In her executive role, she oversees overall organizational strategy, resource development, stakeholder engagement, and program design, ensuring Audre's Den remains deeply rooted in its mission while scaling its reach.
Known for her strategic insight and authentic approach, Shaquinta brings expertise in organizational governance, cross-functional leadership, holistic wellness advocacy, and community-based research. She is deeply passionate about breaking down systemic barriers and building empowering ecosystems that support the personal, professional, and holistic development of those she serves.
As the founder of Audre's Den, Shaquinta sets both the strategic and operational foundation for the organization, cultivating a culture of collaboration, liberation, and continuous growth. Her commitment to community empowerment, equity, and evidence-backed practice serves as the driving force behind the organization’s mission to build spaces where every woman and girl is honored, supported, and equipped to lead.
Chrishele Kingdom, Ph.D.
Board Secretary, Youth Data & Assessment CoordinatorDr. Chrishele Kingdom is an executive leader, strategist, and systems builder with more than a decade of experience leading complex organizational initiatives in education and public service.
She currently serves as Executive Director of Student Data & Accountability for Detroit Public Schools Community District, where she oversees districtwide strategy related to student information systems, assessment, accountability, and performance management. Throughout her career, Chrishele has specialized in translating ambitious visions into sustainable systems that improve outcomes for students, families, and communities.
Known for her ability to navigate complexity, Chrishele brings expertise in organizational strategy, governance, change management, continuous improvement, and cross-functional leadership. She is particularly passionate about helping mission-driven organizations build the structures, processes, and partnerships necessary to transform ideas into lasting impact.
As a member of the Audre's Den Board of Directors, Chrishele contributes strategic oversight, systems-thinking, and organizational development expertise to support the organization's growth and long-term sustainability. Her commitment to equity, community empowerment, and human-centered leadership aligns closely with Audre's Den's mission to create spaces where women and girls can thrive.
Chrishele holds a Ph.D. in Educational Research and Policy Analysis and is deeply committed to developing systems that honor both people and purpose.
Jessica Davie is a proud St. Louis native and graduate of the St. Louis City Public School District. A lifelong lover of reading and literature, she earned a bachelor's degree in Educational Studies from Washington University in St. Louis. During college, she also discovered a passion for acting and writing. Her artistic voice flourished through the study of Black American authors and playwrights, particularly Lynn Nottage, Pearl Cleage, Octavia E. Butler, and Chimamanda Ngozi Adichie. The work of these artists forever changed how she understood humanity, storytelling, and liberation.
Over the last 15 years, Jessica has built a career in the MedTech industry as a Project Manager and Professional Education Program Manager; leading physician education initiatives that improve procedural efficiency and patient outcomes. Throughout her career, she has remained deeply committed to the power of education to transform lives.
Jessica has always been fascinated by humanity's capacity to change—whether in physical health, emotional awakening, or community. She is deeply committed to uplifting Black, Brown, and queer communities.
Jessica believes that literature and the arts, inspire reflection, healing, and collective liberation. She believes that our literature, and our art, are the catalyst for the change we need. And she believes that the only thing that matters in this universe, is how we treat one another.
Jessica is honored to serve on the Board of Audre's Den, where she brings her love for literature and her professional expertise in project management to support an organization dedicated to joy, awakening, and liberation.
